Strategic Partnership signing memorandum between ISATS and PPRI

ISATS is an organization that provides science and technology services, affiliated with the Union of Vietnam Science and Technology Associations. It carries out tasks such as scientific research, implementing programs, projects, and initiatives in the fields of sustainable development, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, environment, and energy. ISATS also conducts greenhouse gas monitoring, quantification, and reporting, as well as provides technical solutions for sustainable farming, livestock breeding, and aquaculture. The organization is also involved in technology application and transfer.

The PPRI is a scientific research entity under the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, tasked with researching and transferring technology related to plant pests, beneficial organisms in agriculture and forestry, plant quarantine objects, and plant protection products nationwide.

Mr. Nguyen Van Liem, the head of the Plant Protection Research Institute, and Ms. Pham My Linh, the head of the Institute for Sustainable Agricultural Technology Solutions, signed the strategic cooperation agreement.

With the goal of building a regular, long-term, and sustainable cooperation relationship, sharing and maximizing the resources and advantages of each party, this cooperation agreement aims to enhance brand value and competitive capacity in research and implementation of science and technology projects. It also includes providing specialized services to organizations and individuals both domestically and internationally.

During the collaboration, ISATS and PPRI will jointly implement projects, enhance capabilities and competitiveness, and promote revenue in specific areas of collaboration. This includes testing the biological efficacy of plant protection products, developing and testing advanced formulations, and providing technical solutions in farming that meet quality standards and eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement is not only significant for ISATS and PPRI but also holds special importance for the development of the agriculture and rural development sector. Through the close collaboration and mutual support between the two organizations, promising achievements and significant influence in the field of sustainable plant protection, safe agricultural practices, and ensuring the quality of agricultural products are expected. This, in turn, contributes to improving the quality of life for consumers.
